Tim Bowler

Qualifications: Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales

Experience & specialisms:

Tim has experience of working closely with a number of owner-managed businesses. He provides an all round service from audit and financial reporting, to planning and financial decision making. Tim also has considerable IT expertise.

Outside work:

Tim enjoys golf and working out in the gym. He also enjoys skiing and sailing.

Clive Westbury

Experience and specialisms:

Clive joined Harrop Marshall as a partner in April 2006 – having originally qualified with us as a chartered accountant in 1981.

He spent the last 18 years as the small business partner with a highly respected Stockport accounting firm.
He has a wealth of experience in the small business sector with specialist knowledge of VAT.

Clive enjoys taking an active role in advising his clients – helping them grow their businesses and guiding them through the challenges they face.

He also has significant experience in successfully advising clients with difficult tax investigations.

Outside work:

Clive is a football fanatic and life-long supporter of Manchester United and Macclesfield Football Club

Amanda Gaskin

Position: Personal Taxation Manager.

Qualifications: Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Experience & specialisms:

Amanda has a wide experience of personal taxation matters, particularly self-assessment for the self-employed, directors and high net worth individuals.

Outside work:

When not working, Amanda enjoys amateur dramatics, tennis and aerobics.

Experience and Specialisms:

Jan has a wide experience of accounting and auditing and is involved in advising clients on payroll matters.

Outside Work:

Jan enjoys working out in the gym, hiking and is a keen supporter of Manchester United.

Carole Clayton

Qualifications: RSA and CLAIT Secretarial Qualifications

Experience and specialisms:

Carole has had many years experience in IT, secretarial and personal assistant roles in several industries.

Outside work:

Carole enjoys family activities, socialising and aerobics.

Ian Brown

Position: Trainee Accountant

Qualifications: BA (HONS) Accountancy with Combined Studies, Currently studying stage 2 of ACCA.

Experience:

Ian has experience of accounts preparation for a variety of businesses. He also assists in both auditing and management accounts assignments.
 
Outside Work:

Ian enjoys playing and watching all sports, especially Hockey &  Cricket as well as supporting Liverpool FC.
